We discuss Trump's first state of the union address Tuesday. Gino offers background on FISA. Tom accuses him of doing preemptive mitigation ahead of the soon-to-be-released "memo" from the House Intelligence Committee. Democrats are afraid of what it will expose about Obama Administration efforts to influence the 2016 election. Gino beats the drum for Russia/Trump collusion. He claims Obama deserves credit for our current economic boom.

This blog platform is owned by Google and I'm learning how comment moderation works. I've been forced to control who comments here because of one obnoxious troll.
If your comment is civil, sticks to the argument, and you don't attack anyone personally, I'll allow it. Just follow the prompts and it will come to me for approval. After I okay it, you'll see it appear as it always has.
Sorry for the extra steps, but I had to do it for civility's sake.

ReplyDeleteHa ha....dream on in alterna-world!!
To use another silly and overused phrase, the released memo certainly turned out to be a "nothing burger", with even Paul Ryan saying, “This memo is not an indictment of the F.B.I., of the Department of Justice. It does not impugn the Mueller investigation or the deputy attorney general,” he said, referring to Robert S. Mueller".
ReplyDeleteYou would have thought that by cherry picking through info to release with little context they could have come up with something better. Desperate times for the White House.
Good reading in today's Daily Sun. A complete blasting of Tom's latest column in a letter to the editor, and a terrific column by David Van Note outlying the two competing visions of America. Read and learn, Tom.
ReplyDeleteYou almost have to admire Trump for his ability to squeeze in so many lies in so few words. Before heading out once agin to the links, our Golfer-in-Chief managed four bald-faced lies in 47 words!
